Volunteering

Our sailing club is operated on a voluntary basis, all members of the committee, people in rescue boats, race officers, social helpers are all club members. In order to run the club we rely on our members taking their turn at helping to run the club.

When you join the club you are committing to 2-3 duties per year, we run racing throughout the year. We offer all our members the option to train in the Patrol boats to an equivalent of RYA PB 2, so they can safely cover the club racing.

Once your membership has been accepted you will receive your membership number and, if you have requested one, a club key for the Pound and Changing Rooms (Non-refundable charge applies per key).
