18-19 April - Cup Weekend - 18ft Skiffs - Cat demo

The March Cup last weekend was a little frisky, as predicted thanks to storm Dave, but great sailing for those that braved the elements.
Our next event is the April Cup, 6 races over 2 days, but with a couple of added attractions.
The weekend will also host a Catamaran demo event in conjunction with the UKCRA. If you want to try the thrill of cat sailing, here's a great opportunity.
We are also hosting an Invitational event for the 18ft Skiffs which should provide some spectacular sailing, if they remain in sight for long enough! Weston already has one Skiff on the books with another in the process of joining and we are expecting at least four boats on the day.
Camping and catering are available over the weekend and no doubt the Bar will be open on Saturday.
Too early to judge the forecast for sailing, but it is warming up, record temperatures forecast for this week. So, time to take the cover off the boat and find out how much that wetsuit has shrunk over winter!
