Traveller at Weston

Dear Members,

As some of you are aware, the travellers have returned to the field next to the club. The club is dealing with the Council and the Police and hope to see them moved on as soon as the extreme weather subsides.

However, with guidance of the local authorities, clubs members and visitors MUST be vigilant, ensuring that ALL gates are locked at ALL times, regardless of whether you or other members are in the clubs pound or club. I cannot stress enough, DO NOT leave the gates open.

NO interaction with the travellers should take place of any sort and any issues should be flagged urgently to a member of the GPC.

DO NOT allow any access , for whatever reason.

There is no supported sailing this Saturday, so would suggest that unless you have to be at the club, do not attend.

Sunday there is racing on in the morning. If you intend to participate, again lock the gates, regardless and keep the club secure.
